Summer School Program 2004-2005 Purpose Statement
1. To provide assistance in the form of extra class time, tutorials,
or Credit Recovery to our students who are not performing at grade level in science; or who has not performed well on the
Science portion of the TAKS test; or not performed well in a science course and are deemed deficient by the course's teacher.
2. This assistance will center on the student's successful
mastery of objective material covered by TEA's TEKS and TAKS objectives.

and Science Center and the Education Service Center

The TASAP After School Program began on September 12, 2005. It is a 1 and
a 1/2 hour science intensive after school program designed to use hands-on exercises, unitedstreaming (videos), lab experimentation,
computer-tutorials, and teacher-guided TAKS activities.
Any student in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades are eligible to attend.
